If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

Your vessel for the day is a 30’ Sportfishing Sea Ray with space for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
