If you're ready to enjoy fishing in Grand Isle, look no further than Grand Isle Fishing Co. With Captain Nick at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
Species like Amberjack, Blackfin Tuna, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Red Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Scamp Grouper, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your vessel for the day is a 40' Invincible catamaran with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Grand Isle Fishing Co!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I would recommend this charter. They went above and beyond to not only get us on fish but to teach my 15 year old grandson and his friend to learn all about “deep dropping.” If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
