Book your next trip with Georgia Coast Charters and find out what makes the fishing offshore
of Tybee Island so unique.

Species like Black Seabass, Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Sheepshead, Cobia, Grunt, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Spanish Mackerel, Amberjack, Gag Grouper, Black Drum, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You'll step aboard a 31' Delta Sportfisher with space for 6 passengers. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels. Live bait is included (seasonally), but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. Don't leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid glass bottles.

Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Georgia Coast Charters!

Fishing with Kyle
4 Hour Trip – Offshore Fishing on July 10, 20265 adults1 child

We were signed up to do an offshore trip, but due to water conditions, offshore wasn't an option. Our group ranged from 8yrs old to 48 yrs old-(including 2 teens) Captain Bennett asked what our main interest were and made some suggestion based on that. I feel like he went the extra mile to make sure everyone got to do what they wanted. We caught fish, saw sharks and dolphin and when the trip was over, they cleaned the fish and fried it up for some amazing fish sandwiches. If you don't want to have a great time, then don't book with Georgia Coast Charters. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU BOOK WITH GEORGIA COAST CHARTER IF YOU WASNT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME, CATCH SOME FISH AND BUILD SOME MEMORIES!!! THANKS CAPTAIN BENNETT !!

Great experience!
4 Hour Trip – Offshore Fishing on March 26, 20264 adults1 child

I own a boat and fish off the coast of Alaska and wanted to experience the Atlantic. When we got out to start fishing we immediately started catching fish. We had one in our group getting sick and wanting to go back. They quickly changed gears and took us on a scenic tour in calm waters. They dropped us on a beach and gave us time to walk around and collect shells and sand dollars. They were very knowledgeable and shared the history of the area. They communicated great and worked with us and the weather to get us the best experience possible. If I end up back at Tybee Island, I would only book a trip out with them 10/10 great experience.

We loved our day with Georgia Coast Charters
8 Hour Trip – Offshore Fishing on October 19, 20256 adults

We went on the 8 Hour Deep Sea Fishing Charter - Captain Kyle and First Mate Jackson were amazing. when we got to the fiahing site the wind picked up and Kyle had to work really hard to keep us over the fish - he did a great job and we got our quota of Vermillion Snapper (25 as there were 5 of us) plus Trigger Fish and Amberjack. Jackson worked so hard making sure our fish was off the hooks, measured, and rebaited so we could keep fishing. whe we got back to the dock, Kyle arranged for our fish to be filleted, and then he took it to Bubba Gambos and talked to the chef to cook it up for us for a small cover charge which included 2 sides - we had our fish blackened, fried and grilled - delicious - and an above and beyond service - in addition we have 8 pounds of filleted fresh fish on ice to take home. I highly recommend Georgia Coast Charters to anyone looking for great fishing with a wonderful, knowledgeable captain and crew. We will be back.

Fun day!
6 Hour Trip – Offshore Fishing on July 3, 20264 adults

Bennett is great to work with! I have teenagers who are hard to please and he got smiles out of both of them! It was a great day on the water and on the fish (even though it was HOT). Bennett made sure we kept drinking water. We caught sea bass, triggerfish, and a pretty red snapper (not able to keep, but pretty to see). We saw dolphin, a loggerhead turtle, and several barracuda. Highly recommend!

Amazing Georgia Coast Charter Excursion
4 Hour Trip – Offshore Fishing on May 18, 20266 adults

We had an amazing four hour Georgia coastline fishing trip today at Tybee Island! The boat was well equipped, the captain was friendly and knowledgeable, and the best part is we caught a lot of fish during our trip! At the end of the excursion, they prepared our fish to take home. We highly recommend booking your next outing with Georgia Coast Charters!

Captains Kyle and Bennett run trips out of Tybee Island. These waters are known for Black Seabass, Mackerel, Snapper, and Grouper among many other species. They will show you how to catch them, whether you're trolling or bottom fishing. With great knowledge of the area, they have a trick or two up their sleeves, and the only way to learn is to join them out on the water!
