Spend the day with Bloody Decks Sportfishing and find out what the fishing in Point Pleasant is all about!

Species like Striped Bass, Flounder, Black Seabass, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Bluefish, Thresher Shark, Wahoo, Lingcod, Atlantic Mackerel, Squid, and more could be biting if you cast your line at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! We have a child-sized life vests available. Please remember to bring drinks and snacks - alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also essentials so dont forget!

Your excursion begins aboard a 34’ Grady-White center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.

Feel free to bring your own rods and reels, but if you don’t have your own - don’t worry, your captain has you covered! Live bait is available depending on the pursuit, so please ask if you have a preference for using such.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work, if satisfied of course.

Your fishing license in NJ is free - all you’ll have to do is register online. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Book your trip today and get ready for some fun! Great times await onboard with the Bloody Decks Sportfishing Crew!

Please note that fishing is very weather dependant and we may need to move dates to ensure the safety of your group and our crew.

3/4 Day Trip – Inshore Tuna (PM) on July 30, 2025

I took my son and three other teenage boys Our first offshore charter and we were not sure how we would handle it. I contacted Chris before scheduling to understand the different trips and his advice given our experience. The trip was incredible! Chris and Andon are not only tremendously skilled captains but also made our trip fun, successful and educational. trip fun. We caught our limit of two bluefin and the boys and I have lifetime memory. We will definitely be back in the fall and hopefully every season thereafter. Thank you Chris and Andon!

Half Day Trip – Fluke/Seabass (AM) on July 29, 2025

Captain Andon and his first mate Anthony couldn’t have done a better job. My wife and I went for a half day trip with my 10 and 7 year old sons who had never been fishing on a boat before. One boy got sick and the other must have asked a thousand questions, and the crew was so kind to both throughout the entirety of the trip. They got everyone involved catching fish and we went home with 2 nights worth of dinner. Thanks again!

Thanks so much Gerard! It was great having you and your family and glad to have delivered a great family experience - it means a lot to us. We truly hope to have also created what is the start of a lifetime of fishing for your two little guys! I have a young son and can’t wait to get him into it as well. Really appreciate the review and look forward to having you onboard with us again! Best, Captain Chris

Awesome day on the water with Captain Anthony and Andon. Got the cousins together and we caught some fish. A few keeper fluke and small Mahi’s. Which was a great surprise!!! And Overall the Boys, caught over 20 small flukes. Cant thank Capt Mike, enough for organizing, last minute changes. Highly recommended boat and crew. Thanks again for a great day. Full Day Trip – Striper&Blues on November 3, 2024

Wow what a trip! We headed out early in the morning to hit the water at first light. This team did not disappoint. This was a father son trip, so we had plenty of room on the boat. and both of us landed out personal best stripers! Whales mixed in with the bunker close to be beach also made for a memorable trip. If you want a great trip, book with Bloody Decks! Will definitely use these guys again.

Capt. Christopher runs trips out of Point Pleasant aboard a 34’ Grady-White center console. These waters are known for Striped Bass and Sharks and he will show you how to catch them, whether you're trolling or bottom fishing. With great knowledge of the area, he has a trick or two up his sleeve, and the only way to learn is to join him out on the water!
