Depending on conditions,and length of your trip.You might hook into Gray Triggerfish, Red Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Gag Grouper, White Marlin, Bigeye Tuna, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, and whatever else takes the bait. We will either be fishing the bottom around reefs or trolling offshore for trophy big game!
Planning a family adventure? Children are always welcome. We do our best to make this the highlight of your vacation. We love to help the kids get their first fish. And learn about the sea life in the Gulf.
Capt. Steve operates the Relentless, a 65' custom sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 18 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials. There's a large bathroom with a shower on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible.
Capt. Steve will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures and dead baits. They like to use live bait to increase your chances of catching big fish. They catch fresh live bait every morning on your way out. Most customers say it's actually fun helping catch bait.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 15-20% to show your appreciation. Fish processing is included in the tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It's always wise to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a camera, and what you want to eat and drink. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

So I cane back with older daughter , my wife and grand kids. They all fished and loved it . Got back to dock with crowd taking photos and gawking over our catch. Captain Steve and crew are really popular or Captain Steve is paying the crowd out of central casting . Could not ever possibly forget, the great time we had. With family fish fry’s to come.

18 Hour Trip Off Shore Big Game on July 21, 2025 • 7 adultsThe captain and crew of Relentless provided us with a top tier fishing experience, a once in a lifetime type of trip that will not be forgotten. They used live bait and put us on the fish. The amenities of the vessel were excellent. Cold AC in the cabin and plenty of space to rest as you travel to and from the fishing grounds. Their modern gear and experience fishing is more than enough to get the big fish in. Take a trip to with them and find out for yourself!

6 Hour Trip (AM) on September 8, 2025 • 8 adultsWe went out Monday with Capt Steve, Tom and Blake. All three you could not have had a nicer crew or boat. As soon as we got to the dock it was top notch service and friendly smiles and faces. Boat was very clean and Capt Steve added a coffee maker to the boat this year. Capt Steve is about his coffee. Haha. We caught more than we could eat for the week and will be using them again next year. Just can’t say enough about the guys on the Relentless!!!

Finding the boat was a breeze, with clear directions and easy parking making the start of our adventure stress-free.The highlight of our trip was Captain Steve. He reached out to us before our scheduled trip to discuss the weather and ensure we had the best possible experience. His proactive approach was reassuring and showed his commitment to providing a top-notch adventure.Captain Steve and his crew were fantastic with our 13 and 12-year-old boys. They were incredibly attentive, guiding our boys through the process of catching fish and making sure they were always engaged and having fun. The boat was spotless, adding to the overall enjoyment. Due to weather conditions, we adjusted our schedule, departing later and returning later than planned. This adjustment turned out to be a blessing, as it allowed us to capture some stunning family photos with the beautiful backdrop of the sea.Overall, our time on the water was amazing and truly worth every moment. We highly recommend this charter fishing trip for anyone looking for a memorable family adventure. Don't forget to take plenty of photos to capture the wonderful memories!

We chose the relentless due to the size and the amenities on the boat. We had a girls trip with 8 women and 1 guy. Wow....did we make the right choice. Captain Steve put us on the fish and the crew (Tom and Blake) were outstanding. It was the first time for two of the women and had no problem bringing fish onboard with the crew's awesome help. Let's just say our annual girls fishing trip will forever be on the Relentless. Thanks for a memorable trip.

Captain Steve Regan began fishing at the young age of 4, alongside his father. His family moved to Destin, FL from Brunswick, GA in 1979 and he instantly fell in love with what is known as 'The World's Luckiest Fishing Village.' His passion for fishing grew throughout his teenage years, and he began to develop skills as a professional fisherman while working as a competitive mate on the finest boats.After earning his Captain's License in 2000, he served as captain on several charter boats until eventually purchasing his own vessel. In 2006, he formed Cutting Edge Charters Inc. and 9 years later expanded his business to include one more charter, called Charter Boat Wahoo. Fishing is in Capt. Steve's blood and is a long part of his family history. He guarantees you'll have an amazing time while you're out on the water with him, 'I enjoy seeing people smile as they reel in their first fish or their biggest trophy fish. On the Wahoo we love to create happy memories that last a lifetime !'
