Captain Dean Cox has been fishing these waters his entire life and has put together an extensive list of coordinates to give anyone from family groups to seasoned pros that perfect day on the water.
Enjoy entry level four hour fishing with the family and the kids. Head out for an eight-hour trip for more experienced anglers. Up for a real challenge? Journey 50+ miles to fish through the day and into the night for the Gulf's biggest fish. Whatever you're after, Capt. Dean has you covered.
The 'Seahorse' is a 48' custom G&S Sport Fisherman with enough room for up to 16 guests. She has everything you need for world-class angling, from modern electronics to outriggers, downriggers, a livewell, and quality equipment from Penn and Shimano.
Up to eight anglers can fish at once, but there's plenty to keep the rest of you happy. The boat has an air-conditioned interior with a full head and a galley complete with a microwave oven and a micro-fridge.
Your group can lounge in the boat's salon and enjoy the stereo and flat-screen TV or head outside to explore her deck space to watch your group reel in fish.
Capt. Dean likes to stock up on fresh live bait by stopping near the shore each morning. He finds that fishing with live bait adds to the overall fishing experience, but also gives you an opportunity to find your 'sea-legs'. If he has to buy live bait, Capt. Dean is happy to pay 50% of the price of it.
Whether you're a seasoned or novice angler, a large company group, or a small party, the professional crew of Seahorse will do their best to make sure that your trip is a memorable one.

Tried 4 hour trip in the afternoon and caught fish. First mate Billy and Captain Dean were professional and focused on getting us into fish. Also they worked to see no one got motion sickness as some had experienced before. Would recommend morning trip to avoid the summer heat - the air conditioned cabin was nice to have.
We had a great trip on The Seahorse with Captain Dean and Co-Captain Billy!! We had 13 people on the boat with 11 of them fishing. Billy was awesome helping everyone and made sure that everyone had what they needed. He was very patient with all of us and cold not had asked for a better co-captain than Billy!! We caught 75 red snappers and 5 white snappers. Thanks to Captain Dean for putting us where the fish were!! We would definitely book again with them!!
Great 4 hour quick trip with our group. Captain was very friendly and the first was awesome! Very knowledgeable and explained everything to the group to see success. We caught a few Red Snapper and a lot of Vermillion Snapper. Fed the whole group dinner that night!
It was rough out there and Captain Dean did an amazing job navigating the waters and keeping us held on the fish. They were great with the kids and first timers.

For the 2nd year in a row my family has had blast on the Seahorse. Absolutely amazing crew. Tons of fish were caught and my nephew caught a tagged trigger fish.

These days he captains the Seahorse, which boasts many productive fishing days - and even one wedding. Captain Dean is Destin born-and-bred, and comes from a family of fishermen, giving him more than one lifetime of local knowledge which he puts to good use on each trip.
