swing and a miss
Flats Fishing 6hr (preferred) on July 23, 20262 adults

though we did not catch any fish, it was still a worthwhile experience. The surface was a little choppy and the conditions weren’t right for Tarpon fishing. That said Captain Blake got us onto lots of tarpon, one of which smashed the lure, but got away. He worked hard to get us in front of lots of tarpon throughout the morning. But they were just a little spooked and not biting or committing to striking the lure. The fishing grounds are beautiful on the flats. And overall it was worthwhile seeing all the animal life, sharks, turtles, etc… Captain Blake is clearly very knowledgeable about how to surf the flats and the keys, but on this day, the tarpon were not behaving.

I'm Hooked, Eventhough the Fish Weren't
TARPON PLUS on June 6, 20262 adults

Totally fulfilling experience. Had a blast. Captain Blake was an absolute pro. Cool guy. He put us on the fish, but we couldn't get one to bite. He was seeing fish all day. Bonefish, permit, tarpon.....even a shark or two. If he had the rod I'm sure we would have had some action. Tarpon are HUGE...they come out of the shadows, hang out for a second or two, then they're gone. Flats fishing is like hunting...you gotta see them. You gotta make the perfect cast in whatever conditions, and hopefully you bust one. Eventhough we didnt entice one to bite, I'm totally hooked. I now have a new obsession. Thanks Blake.

Trip was amazing!
Full Day of Fun! on January 3, 20262 adults

Blake did a fantastic job for my wife and I. we own our own charter fishing business in Idaho. Blake exceeded our expectations by a mile. The perspective we gained on the keys from this trip was amazing. We primarily targeted bonefish on the fly, but Blake was rigged ans ready for my wife to take opportunities at Barracuda. She caught several, with one being huge! The bonefish evaded us, but the effort put in by Blake ans his understanding of bot only the history of Key West, but the flora and fauna was incredible! We cant wait to come back. On another note, Blake was such a great guy to spend the day with, I would hire him as a captain in my own operation without a sccond thought.

Had a blast, recommend
Bonefishing 6hr on December 28, 20251 adult1 child

I fished with Blake late December 2025. Told him I was mostly after bonefish but it was a dream to catch a permit on the fly. Blake was flexible on start time and we got on the water early and managed to squeeze in a 9 hour day even though I was flying out that evening. The weather was beautiful and Blake's knowledge of the area put us on bonefish on most flats we looked, and I managed to land one of the best bonefish of my life in a most spectacular place--something that will stick with me forever. Also had multiple shots on barracuda, and did get a shot at a permit. Blake did a good job of setting up a communication system between he and I so when he spotted a fish I was likely to put a fly in the right spot. He's a really good communicator--tells you what he's seeing and what he's thinking, and by the afternoon I was spotting fish myself. He has deep knowledge of the flora and fauna and I learned a lot, not just about bonefish and permit, but turtles, manta rays, etc. I had a really good time and would love the opportunity to fish with Blake again, and would recommend him to anyone who wants to experience the majesty of the Keys with a really good dude.

The best chatter I've ever been on !
Juvenile Tarpon on September 2, 20252 adults

Me and my girl went out and it was an unforgettable experience! Best charter captain I've been with and he put me right on the fish.. very knowledgeable and genuine guy. We had the best time. Great dude, great boat, Was expecting to only catch some small juvenile tarpon and ended up landing a 40-50 lb tarpon along with a ton of other tarpons & barracudas. Saw some sharks as well. He will find you the fish and you will have a great time, he's not scared to move spots to find them and does not waste time. Highly recommend I took a few florida charters over the years and this was by far the most fun!! When I come back going right back on this boat

Angler's Choice

The Angler's Choice Award is given to listings that consistently deliver a high-quality service and earn great reviews from customers.

The sea has always been awake in me, its where I find deep comfort. I studied the ocean in college and began my work on the it immediately after graduation as a commercial fisherman, diving to catch critters for researchers and aquariums. Fishing was always apart of my upbringing, as a teenager I was constantly fishing. I love all fishing styles from rod and reel, to fly, spear, and everything in between. I believe customer servicer is everything and I owe it to you, the clients, to work my hardest and achieve an exciting and memorable day on the water! Our customer service goes beyond the boat too, anything we can do to ensure your trip is a success, we will go above and beyond to accomplish
