These waters are known for Lane Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Mutton Snapper, Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Pompano, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Blake also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Any fish caught on these trips will be released.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your boat for the day is a 19’ Xplor skiff with room for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Blake has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

A true professional

Although we had to call off our trip because of bad weather, Blake was extremely responsive, patient, and professional. We attempted to get on the water but storm clouds rolled in pretty quickly. Up until that point, however, Blake demonstrated that he clearly knows not only marine life and fishing techniques, but how to interact with the public and be a great guide. When we do get back out on the water, which we will, we will definitely be using Blake again.

Me and my girl went out and it was an unforgettable experience! Best charter captain I've been with and he put me right on the fish.. very knowledgeable and genuine guy. We had the best time. Great dude, great boat, Was expecting to only catch some small juvenile tarpon and ended up landing a 40-50 lb tarpon along with a ton of other tarpons & barracudas. Saw some sharks as well. He will find you the fish and you will have a great time, he's not scared to move spots to find them and does not waste time. Highly recommend I took a few florida charters over the years and this was by far the most fun!! When I come back going right back on this boat

Blake was an EXCELLENT captain. He was fun and easy to talk to. He knew exactly what he was doing and was able to provide education to those who didn’t. His guidance to catch the bone fish was phenomenal despite the strong winds. We were also able to see other wild life that he had an abundance of knowledge on. I would recommend him to any one and definitely will be coming back to fish with him some more!

Backcountry trip!

The captain put us on fish, most fish weren’t in the biting mood but we saw many different species. BIG tarpon, 3-6’, huge barracuda in the area. We caught Mangrove snapper, small barracuda but the tarpon just weren’t on the bite today for us. Captain Blake was knowledgeable and tried all he could to put us on fish. Will definitely book again with captain Blake. Don’t hesitate, he is worth it.

Captain Blake was very familiar with the area and took us to a lot of habitat areas. Fish weren’t biting, but we got to see a lot of fish (bonefish, tarpon, shark) and even saw a couple of sea turtles. The captain even stopped on the way back in and offered assistance to a jetskier that was stuck in the flats.
