South Padre Island has a fish with your name on it, so let Texas Lower Coast Charters help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Timothy knows them forwards and back.
Around here it’s common to catch Black Drum, Flounder, Sheepshead, Pompano, Mangrove Snapper, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and more with any luck. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 24’ Shallow Sport bay boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Timothy has rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Texas Lower Coast Charters!
