Winter Fishing Trips:

Winter weather patterns have started to move into our area and our focus has turned to speckled trout fishing.  With the colder air and water temperatures, speckled trout begin to school up in deeper, more consistent water temps. While they are on the move and settling into their winter patterns, we travel the northeastern seaboard of NC and VA to target these spectacular fish. 

The weather patterns determine where, when and how we target the speckled trout during these winter trips.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

Your day begins aboard a 21' Bay boat that fishes up to 4 people comfortably.

Capt. Esben will provide rods and reels for you, along with bait and lures.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time!

It's always wise to bring bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Partnered with Carolina Brewery to share great beer for great times, we offer samples at the end of the charter to guests 21+ years old.
