Let's Go Sportfishing Aruba 

We had an unforgettable experience, would recommend them to everyone!! We like to go fishing on our tropical vacations and our honeymoon in Aruba was no different. We booked with Captain Jairo prior to traveling and mentioned how our main goal was to catch a mahi mahi. He made no promises but said he'd try his best to make that happen. After arriving at the marina we got a debrief on rules and safety and then we were off on our way. Our first catch of the day was a blackfin tuna that gave my wife a good warmup. Second catch was a wahoo that gave me a run for my money trying to real it in. Third catch was a sailfish which is a trophy fish, we did not know this at first but after watching the crew get very excited I knew it was something special. I liked that there is a local unwritten rule that if you get a trophy fish you must catch and release. Gives everyone a chance to potentially catch something special and feel the special moment we felt. Then, Captain Jairo kept his promise and as we were driving back to the marina we caught a mahi mahi. This made our whole trip as it was our special mission. I know fishing is a game of chance and you can't make sure you catch something but he made it his mission to increase those chances as much as he could. As we were going back to the marina they informed us that if we were in a tournament we would have scored a Super Grand Slam and that is not a common feat and we were able to fly the pink flag. This let everyone at the marina know that we caught a trophy fish (sailfish). To cap the trip off Captain Jairo filleted all 3 fish for us to take to our resort so they could cook it for us. If your resort/hotel doesn't do that they have a local restaurant that would cook it for you right off the dock. We had such an unforgettable fishing trip not only because of the Super Grand Slam but because the crew was awesome. The crew was super friendly and helped make the trip a good special. We are not expert fishers and they were more than helpful giving us tips and advice as we were catching the fish. They were very knowledgeable and did not make you feel out of place for not being an expert. We were only a party of two but this would be a great experience for a family as well.

Capt. Jairo is awesome and got us on some fish quickly. First Mate Nomar is extremely knowledgeable and one helluva angler!!! Luis, even though he is still learning the ropes, you wouldn't know unless he told you. He instantly got the rod in our hands and got our first fish of the day. Now for the fish. We got 2 Mahi Mahi and a 78lb Wahoo!!! I had to call the trip a bit short because I got sea sick (second time ever) which was a bummer, but the Capt. and Crew were super accomodating. If you dont choose Lets Go Sportfishing you are truly missing out on a helluva time!!! 10 out of 10.

Oldest son and I chartered on 3/31, Captain said the morning fishing wasn't great but they had a few ideas to get on the fish. About 30 mins in my kid was sea sick and we were hooked on a blue marlin. Fish was on for almost two hours and it was an absolute battle, Nomar bailed me out a few times when he knew I was gassed. Got the fish close to the boat a few times and the estimate was 400lbs or more. Truly a once in a lifetime catch. Make no mistake, this is THE boat you want to be on. Me and my two sons (14) and (12) had an unbelievable day with Jairo and Nomar his son. Both were super friendly and professional. We did the 6 hour starting at 6:00 am.first bite was on at 6:30. Super active morning and when it slowed we tried a little bottom fishing (caught 4 red snapper) and as a bonus Nomar tried his luck under the vegetation to see if he could get a mahi. Instead he hooked a Caribbean Green shark. After that we hooked another tuna. Before we headed in. Nomar sat with the kids and showed them some great pics. Total for the day 2 Wahoos, 1 shark, 6 tunas and 4 snappers. Would highly recommend them.

Amazing fishing charter in Aruba! We had an awesome day on the water and caught 7 fish, including mahi-mahi and kingfish. The crew was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip a great experience. The boat handled the water conditions extremely well, and we felt comfortable throughout the trip.
