Captain Tom and Mate Chris were great. they were very welcoming, responsive, knowledgeable and friednly. we caught 2 mahi 3 black fin 1 yellow fin and 1 barracuda. Captain knows where the fish are. We had a few take downs that spit the hook too. chris worked to change baits and colors to make sure we were using what the fish were biting. he cleaned and bagged our fish for us as well. higly recommend these guys. we will be back and book with these guys again!

Thanks a lot Brady! Was an awesome trip 👍😊
We booked two separate fishing trips in Aruba with Captain Tom and First Mate Chris, and both experiences were excellent. We caught fish on both outings, and the crew made the entire trip enjoyable from start to finish. Chris was especially attentive—he made sure we always had a line in the water and kept everything running smoothly. You can tell they're experienced and know how to put you in the right position to catch fish. If you're looking for a well-run charter with a knowledgeable captain and a hardworking first mate who takes great care of you, I would highly recommend this trip.

Thanks a lotttt Deron! Was very nice having you and your family onboard 👍😊🙏

Captain Tom and his first mate Chris were fantastic. Started out a little slow. Left the dock at 6am, didn't have a fish in the boat until about 9am( a real nice wahoo, just fit into a 150qt cooler). Then we proceeded to catch 2 more wahoo's, 1 barracuda, and 5 black fin tunas. Two of my crew mates got seasick and we wrapped it up by 10:30ish. All those fish in 2 hours. Capt Tom did a nice job cleaning our catch, gave us enough for 16 people who were back at the house. Grilled wahoo and barracuda with tuna sashimi, everyone loved it. I will definitely book Capt Tom next time I'm in Aruba.🎣🐟👍

Thank you very much Brian! Very much appreciated 👍😊 Looking forward to seeing you next time 👍👍
TLDR; Great captain and crew; very accomodating to requests; great sportfishermen and bottom fishermen; good times. Captain Tom and First mate Chris are stewards of the island who promote the health of the marine flora/fauna. They're knowledgeful of the island, it's seas, and are willing to teach those who inquire. But if you're reading this review, you're probably here for the fishing, so I'll jump to that. We went on a 4 hour trip with fair seas in September; but I'd recommend a 6 to maximize effort and odds. Fishing is fishing, and we did not do well with the Mahi (in no part due to a lack of trying!). Captain Tom and Chris were constantly adjusting the trolling distances, bait, and teasers to diversify the effort. With an hour and a half left, I suggested bottom fishing. Im not sure if this is something they normally offer, especially since I did not request it, but Captain Tom was more than willing to give it a go. No time was wasted switching gears and targetting a completely different species. Within a few minutes, we were on the board. My group of 3 caught 4 Yellow-Eye Red Snapper with the help of Chris. There's a lot of fish to eat at the Aruban Restaurants, but after eating the Yellow-Eye Red Snapper for breakfast this morning (filleted beautifully by Captain Tom) nothing compares. I highly recommend going with this crew. Come prepared with a good attitude, dramamine, and a four leaf clover for good luck. Even if we did not catch fish I would have had a great time. Captain Tom was very accommodating to my requests to switch to bottom fishing, and he put us on fish. First mate Chris was also very skilled. High Times and Fair Seas -Kyle

Thank you very much Kyle, it was a pleasure having you onboard! Looking forward to our next fishing trip!!
Captain Tom is a pleasure to fish with. He's got a great perspective on life, knows the water extremely well, and put us on some Mahi! Deckhand Chris was also excellent, managing 6 set-ups at a time, and always there ready to go when we got hooked up. Would highly recommend this team. My wife and I took a 6 hour trip, next time we will do a minimum of 8 hours and get out to the deep water and try for swords. Thank you Captain Tom and Chris for the great day! There is also an excellent little Marina restaurant right next to Captain Tom's dock, they cooked up our mahi a couple different ways and it was delicious.

Thank you very much Andrew! Very much appreciated 🙏🙏😊😊👍👍Looking forward to our next trip!
Capt. Tom was born in Aruba and has almost been on the water ever since. At the age of 13, Tom started working on (charter) boats and realized he loved what he was doing. In 2004 he decided to get an education and returned 10 years later. Since then, he has been back to doing what he loves - fishing, boating, and being on the water. Finally, in 2022 he was able to open his own charter company - High Times Charters.
