If you're ready for some inshore sport fishing, we've got you covered with Grabbin Tail Charters. With many years on the flats & in the backwaters around the lower Tampa Bay Area, Captain Jordan will put you on the fish.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Snook, with the opportunity of many more species. On the day of your trip, you're likely to be sight-casting with light tackle.
Species like Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Snook are catch-and-release only. Bycatch may be harvested if within regulations. There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain
Children 7 years of age and older are welcome aboard! We look forward to teaching young anglers the fun and excitement that comes along with fishing.
Your adventure begins aboard an 18' Beavertail Vengeance Skiff with room for 2 anglers. It comes with an iced-down cooler, water, sunscreen, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait may be included, but be sure to ask about it so the captain can make accommodations.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (of your choice), and proper clothing. There will be some bottled water offered, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
