Dirk Burkett Sportfishing welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks for a boost of energy when needed!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 37’ Sea Ray 370EC sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
