Straight Hook Fishing Charters
If you’re going to cast a line in St. Bernard, look no further than Straight Hook Fishing Charters.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and who knows what else! During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Ozzy welcomes anglers of all ages, including kids, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 24’ Pathfinder bay boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Straight Hook Fishing Charters!
