Tidewater Charters – 25' Center Console
If you're going to cast a line in Cape Charles, look no further than Tidewater Charters. With Captain Tyler at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are known for Redfish, Striped Bass, Cobia, Sheepshead, Spadefish, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. During the trip, you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Parker center console with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Liked captain. He tried hard but fish weren’t biting.

We wanted to target redfish and that’s exactly what we got. Tyler was great, he took us straight out to the spot and we caught several beautiful reds. We highly recommend Tyler at Tidewater for your next charter, he guided us and was super responsive to our questions and kept our lines baited and ready to go.

Thank you Capt Tyler for an awesome trip! Looking forward to the next opportunity!
