Species like Lake Trout, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 29’ Cruiser with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

You will need to get a Michigan fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain for information. You will need to have either a 24-hour MI fishing license or a valid yearly all-species MI fishing license.

You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, with no hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
