Depending on conditions, you might hook into Striped Bass, Bluefin Tuna, Black Seabass, Cod, Flounder, Haddock, Bluefish, and anything else that bites. Offshore trips and all day trips are not recommended for small children.
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Kids under 12 are required to wear a life jacket at all times. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your trip begins aboard a 26' Steiger Craft that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's a good idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, wind breaker or sweatshirt, bottled water, and sunscreen. Adult drinks are allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The captain put us on the fish and me and my crew pulled them in, my 6 year old grandson out fished us all with the captain showing great patients and helping him have a good time

We had a good catch for the day and a great time. Captain Jim went above to ensure we had a good trip. We first started for our target of sea bass only to end up with dogdish however we made the move to another area and caught striper. After catching one slot keeper on above the limit and one below the limit made the move to an area with potential for the chance at sea bass. This time we were catching sea bass on top water lures. The amount of sea bass seen were well beyond expectations. Again I can say no complaints on the captain, equipment, or the fish.
Couple buddies and I booked Capt Jim for a day on the water. And we could t have had a better time, not only did we arrive early to a clean and new boat but the Capt had us catching fish as soon as we dropped a line. Even managed to have a massive shark snag one of our lines. 10/10 experience would highly recommend Capt Jim and Colin from Get Hooked Fishinf out of Dennis, MA.
You can tell from the moment we started the trip that he wanted us catch fish just as much as we wanted to catch them. We ended the day with 4 different species and i couldn’t even count how many fish. I would highly recommend
Capt Jim made sure we had a comfortable, safe and enjoyable fishing trip. My sons had a great time and caught some huge sea bass! We decided to keep only large males and still limited out. Beautiful morning on the water, thanks Capt!
