Around here the fishing is popular for Bluefin Tuna, Bluefish, Striped Bass,trophy size Doormat fluke . Flounder, Cod, Haddock, Black Seabass, Scup (Porgy), Blue Shark, Porbeagle Shark, and more with any luck.
On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Rick can also have you kite fishing for Bluefin Tuna.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your excursion begins aboard a 32' Center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.we also have a 23ft seacraft for smaller groups up to 3 people.
Capt. Rick will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
