Species like Amberjack, Great Barracuda, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Black Grouper, Goliath Grouper, Tarpon, and more are in the cards, depending on conditions. You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You'll be casting lines from a 2016 Sea Hunt Gamefish 25 powered by twin yamaha 150 outboards. It has a comfortable seating arrangements for 6 plus the captain.

It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Bottled water is included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Great day out with Capt Jordan

Weather was bad but not cap’s fault. He did a great job to alter plans to what the weather allowed. Cold, windy snap in February with north winds. He put us on fish in comfortable spots on ocean side and taught me a lot about how fish in the area. Fun guy to fish with. Told him if weather turned so that we could fish gulf side at some point while here on ramrod, I would like to hire him again to learn about that type of fishing.

What a Fun Adventure!!!

Half Day Fishing Trip on June 7, 2025 • 5 adults

This was my first time personally booking a charter fishing trip. We brought our 9 year old curious and very attention seeking son with us, our two mini doodles and our two best friends. We had a blast! Captain Jordan was so wonderful and so attentive to everyone's needs, especially the 9 year old. He caught so many fish and above all, had probably the best day of his life. Jordan made the experience better than we expected and went above and beyond, in every way possible. Such a great guy with great music, attitude and funny as well! We absolutely enjoyed every minute. Our friends have been on charters before and they had a wonderful time! This has been such a great day and fun memory we can treasure forever and we are so thankful we found Jordan for this fun memory! We truly feel like we have a new friend down in Big Pine Key! Capt. Jordan loves what he does and maybe even more importantly, loves to share it with others. He will ask what you want, listen to what you say and then craft a trip to suit your needs. He has the equipment and knowledge for offshore or inshore and works hard to produce and make sure everyone is having fun. We went offshore and found peanut mahi and assorted other species. He cleaned them up and recommended a spot for “catch and cook”. Strongest possible endorsement!

Great Experience!

Rough day on the water, conditions were not ideal due to wind. Captain Jordan was great with the the very inexperienced in our party, we call caught fish, unfortunately none that we could keep because of size. we even ended up on some shark and had a great time. 10/10 recommend Captain Jordan
