Excited to catch some fish on Lake Lanier! Lanier Premier Charters is your ticket! With Captain Shawn at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
These waters are known for Striped Bass, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" Depending on the fish you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Lanier Premier Charters is a kid-friendly charter service, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 27’ Robalo center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures and live bait.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation.

Captain Shawn was Top Tier!
Our trip with Captain Shawn was awesome! We did a morning 4 hour trip and it was beautiful seeing the sunrise on the cool waters. He was very communicative and made sure we knew what to expect and what we needed to bring. On the boat, He informed us about the boat and all the equipment he used to find and catch fish. He helped us cast our lines teaching us new ways to lure in fish. Even though it was a tough time to find fish on Lake Lanier, he tried everything he could and we managed to catch a few fish! Definitely recommend Captain Shawn with Lanier Premiere Charters!

Shawn was able to put us on fish on one of the Hottest days of the year. He had the right experiences to offer my young daughters, wife, 80 year old father, and my 17 year old nephew on the same boat at the same time. Relaxing Trip on the Lake
We had a fantastic and relaxing trip on Lake Lanier. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Our family of five, including a toddler, had a great time fishing, and we were excited to catch several spotted bass. Shawn was kind and helpful, providing us with plenty of information about the lake and surrounding areas, which made our experience even better. It was a memorable day on the water, and we can't wait to return!
