Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll find yourself aboard a 23' Mako center console with room for 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be a cooler on board so you can bring your own drinks and snacks and keep them cool.

Captain Wayne was awesome! We had a tough day battling the red tide, but he never lost confidence that we’d eventually find the fish. He stayed in touch with at least a dozen other guides, and none of them had seen a single cobia all day. Still, Captain Wayne wasn’t about to give up. We covered a lot of water, and in the end, his persistence paid off. He put us right on the cobia, we caught our limit, and had an absolute blast doing it. If you’re looking for a guide who’s willing to put in the work to make your trip a success, Captain Wayne is your guy!

This was a birthday gift for my husband who had never gone fishing. We both had a great time! Capt Wayne knew exactly were the good spots were and was a great teacher explaining how to fish to two newbies. We ended up catching lots of different fish and enjoying every minute out on the water. Already recommended the trip to friends in the area and would fish with Capt Wayne and crew again anytime!

I took my family on a sunset trip for a couple of hours and it was a blast! My kids are young, so wanted to make sure the trip wasn’t too long and that we’d catch fish they could handle. Captain Wayne delivered on this and more. He and TJ were great with my kids, which also allowed my wife and I some time to enjoy the sunset and experience. All told I think my kids caught more than I did, and that’s just fine with me. I highly recommend this charter!
overall an unforgetable time! our other charter canceled for storms and i spent hours looking to book something while we were down here. Wayne responded right away and got us in. my first time booking a charter ever and he made me feel re-assured and once we got there everything went so smooth! they are so friendly and helpful! ive never caught anything bigger than rockfish prior to this. they were so nice and taught me so much. we are already planning our next booking!

Fair conditions today and the Cobia were elusive but Captain Wayne put us on the fish. Captain Wayne found a huge pod of Cobia. He and TJ hooked 4 fish in minutes. We had our 2 keepers and fished for another hour catching 1 more nice fish. Highly recommend Captain Wayne for your next Cobia trip.
