Apparently I picked the 3 worst days to fish in Hampton, VA this summer. However, Capt. Richard swapped to his bigger boat, changed our methods and put us on fish. We trolled and caught mackerel, chummed and sight fished for cobia and caught cobia including the most incredible cast from the tower by the capt right to the cobias mouth a hundred yards away!!! (almost). And we wrapped up the nasty weather day with some shark fishing only to land a 7ft ragged tooth monster. Capt Richard and his son Houston "hoot" made a windy/wavy day great and got me a bucket list fish!

Thank you so much for the incredible review! We really appreciate you sticking with us through some of the toughest conditions we’ve seen this summer. Sometimes Mother Nature has other plans, but we’re always willing to adapt and do everything we can to make the day a success. Switching to the bigger boat and changing tactics paid off, and we’re thrilled we were able to put you on Spanish mackerel, cobia, and cap off the trip with that incredible 7-foot ragged tooth shark! That tower cast will definitely be one we’ll be talking about for a while! It was a pleasure having you aboard, and we’re honored we could help you check a true bucket-list fish off the list. We look forward to fishing with you again soon—hopefully with a little calmer weather next time! Tight lines!
i appreciate Captain Richard going above and beyond to accommodate our family. i had forgotten my son had youth group for the time period we had selected for our charter, he understood the importance and offered us several different options that worked out for us. He also accommodated my request for the type of fish we were looking for. We caught alot of fish for dinner, jammed to some alternative music, and him and his first mate Houston worked there butts off to make sure qe were happy!

Thank you so much for the incredible review! It was truly our pleasure having your family aboard. We know family comes first, so we’re glad we could find a schedule that worked and still get you out on the water. It was awesome putting you on the fish you were hoping to catch, and we’re even happier to hear you went home with plenty for a great dinner! The music, the laughs, and watching everyone reel in fish made for an unforgettable day. Houston and I really appreciate your kind words—it means a lot to know our hard work helped make your trip special. We can’t wait to fish with your family again and make even more great memories. Tight lines, and we’ll see you next time! 🎣

My family of four enjoyed the great crew, calm and peaceful waters, and fishing lessons and success. Captain Richard was both personable and knowledgeable. The first mate was also good and very helpful. The fish did not want to bite but eventually everyone in the family caught something, including our 9 year old who wanted ti be over it!!! We caught multiple smalker fah-- spotted, croacker, and sea mullet and had some good eatin' later that night!!! Thanks captain and first mate!!!

its was great to spend time with yall we hope to see yall again, that plate looks spot on!

Our trip with Reel Blessed Charters was everything a fishing trip should be and more. These two captains were professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly accommodating from beginning to end. They put us on the fish all day. We caught and released two massive bull redfish measuring over 50 inches, landed a keeper cobia, and also caught Spanish mackerel and sea mullet. The action was incredible, but what made the trip truly special was the peaceful atmosphere, nonstop laughter, and great memories we made on the water. These captains genuinely enjoy what they do, and it shows in how hard they work to make sure everyone has a successful and enjoyable experience. Whether you are an experienced fisherman or taking your family out for the first time, Reel Blessed Charters is the crew you want guiding your trip. We came looking for a great day of fishing and left with stories we will be telling for years. Book the trip. You will not regret it. Five stars all the way!

Thank you so much for the incredible review and for choosing Reel Blessed Charters! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It was an absolute pleasure having you aboard. From battling those giant bull redfish to putting a keeper cobia in the boat, the fishing was certainly memorable, but we agree that the laughs, stories, and time spent together on the water are what make these trips truly special. We work hard to create an experience that is not only productive but also enjoyable and welcoming for anglers of all skill levels, so hearing that we accomplished that means the world to us. Your kind words about our professionalism, patience, and dedication are greatly appreciated. Thank you again for trusting us with your day on the water. We are honored to have been part of memories you’ll be sharing for years to come, and we look forward to fishing with you again soon. Until then, tight lines and God bless!
I can NOT put into words how amazing of a trip this was. It has always been a dream of mine and my friends to open water fish and Captain Richard and Houston made our dreams come true! The kindest people we have ever met. They made the experience fun, educational, and effortless! We are a group of several age groups and they made everything easy and comfortable! We caught fish, laughed, enjoyed the scenery, and just enjoyed the water! (and their compnay) I can NOT wait to come back and make more memories with our new found friends. I can honestly say that ReelBlessed was a REAL BLESSED experience!! Cant Wait to book again!
