If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing in Point Pleasant, look no further than Eightball Sportfishing. With Captain Hunter at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Striped Bass, Flounder, Bluefish, Mahi Mahi, Black Seabass, Thresher Shark, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, and whatever else takes the bait.

On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Don’t forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

You’ll be fishing aboard a 34’ Atlantic Sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
