Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

If youre looking to get on some reds and poke around for anything and everything the Charleston Harbor and approaches can offer, Capt Brian is your guy! We had a great day out on the water, catching reds about 10mins into the trip! My two sons, 17 and 14, and I caught our first redfish and now we are hooked! Brian and his Sea Hunt are very proficient and made sure our crew was baited, our fish netted and the navigating was safe and strong. Dont hesitate to book with this guy! He even gives you a flag to commemorate your first red and your PB, if you get one! We will be back when the water warms up some and the real fun can get going. Thanks for a great morning Brian!

Brian worked his butt to to put us on fish and he did. He was extremely patient and calm very willing to teach techniques and what to look for. Answered questions about rigs and baits. Made it easy for us.
I may be a little biased but this was by far the best charter in Charleston!!! He is extremely knowledgeable and knows the best spots. Knows his stuff and very helpful with fishing in general. He was also willing to answer any questions, no matter how dumb. As a novice fisher, he took time to explain things which I appreciate. Highly Recommend!!

Brian is amazing, very knowledgeable and has great people skills, and he was excellent working with my 13 year old son. I highly recommend Brian! We caught a stingray and 2 sharks!
