Spend the day with Everglades Fishing Experience and get hooked on fishing in Fort Lauderdale! Sean will be your guide, so you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bowfin, Tiger Oscars, Cichlid's, Florida Gar and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself live bait fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Thinking of bringing the family? Kids are absolutely welcome with a parent! Child-sized life vests are available but you are welcome to bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
Your day begins aboard a 2025 18’ Nitro Z-18 bass boat that holds up to 2 passengers. It is tournament ready with 4 Lowrance 9” graphs, Power Pole shallow water anchor, remote controlled Minn Kota Ultrex trolling motor with spot lock and a 150hp motor. Your guide will provide rods and reels, along with live bait, (shiners) and artificial lures if requested.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the guide. All trips are catch and release.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses and sunblock. There will be cold drinks on offer, but let the guide know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is not allowed.

Great fishing trip

Capt Sean was very responsive to messaging before the trip. We normally do the fishing charter’s in the St. Lawrence River in NY / Canada border. We have always caught fish there. This trip in the Everglades was great. Nonstop bites. We hit a few of Capt Seans spots during a four hour trip and we probably caught 20 fish each. My son and I both highly recommend him. We will definitely be back next year.

Captain Sean took me and my son out today for some fantastic fishing. He immediately put us on peacock bass (my son’s wish for this trip) huge Oscar’s and Mayan cichlid. Trip was so good we chose for extra time on the water to add to our catches. Highly recommend Sean and his super clean super quick boat. We will book again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sean was an amazing captain and put us in the peacock bass as well as some other species. I would highly recommend him for a glades fishing trip. He was super helpful with my 9 year old son too. My son already wants to book another trip.
