You're likely to fish for Amberjack, Bonito, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Shortbill Spearfish, Sierra Mackerel, Sailfish, Roosterfish, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, and more if conditions are right. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

You'll be fishing aboard a 38' Bertram sportfishing vessel that holds up to 10 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Rods, reels, and tackle are included. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
