You’ll target your catch by fishing with heavy tackle, trolling, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favourites to keep their stamina going!
Capt. Christo will bring you aboard a 24’ NovaCraft Sportfisher with room for 5 passengers. It comes with outriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Christo will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don’t forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and bottled water. Alcohol is not allowed.
