If you’re ready to experience fishing in Miami Beach, look no further than Finway. With Captain Steven or Captain Himie at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Almaco Jack, Snowy Grouper, Sailfish, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Bull Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

Capt.  believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Your fishing machine for the day is a 39’ custom sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt.  will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 15- 25% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.

It’s never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
