If you're ready to experience fishing in Miami Beach, look no further than Finway. With Captain Steven or Captain Himie at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Great Barracuda, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Almaco Jack, Snowy Grouper, Sailfish, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Bull Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
Capt. believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 39' custom sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, a fighting chair and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. will supply rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 15- 25% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Highly recommend Captain Haime and Finn Way. The captain was fantastic and handled the rough seas very well. We had a good time even with the rough seas. He came prepared with a backup plan if the water was too rough and was ready to pivot and head to the bay for smooth sailing. We didn’t catch anything on this trip but it was still better than sitting on the shore watching others go out on a boat. I’d recommend this charter and I will definitely be back! Looking forward to the next trip.
We went out on 3/1/2026 for the full day charter. we started off trolling and caught a nice king with in the first 10 minutes. A shark followed one of our fish in so Captain Haime set up a shark rig to go after him. We ended hooking up to a 12ft hammerhead that we didn’t expect. The fight lasted about 2 hours and the shark was safely released. I couldn’t say enough good things about Captain Haime and his first mate Ben. We will be booking again in the near future.

We were delayed by an unexpected travel mishap that caused us to arrive late for our trip. The captain was incredibly kind and flexible and extended our trip as he did not have another trip booked for us. Attentive and patient instructor to teach the various fishing techniques. Made every effort to ensure we were able to catch fish and enjoy our trip. highly recommend and will return for another trip!
We had a great time on our fishing excursion captain and first mate were very knowledgeable and shared stories. It was a little cold and rainy, but it was a successful trip we caught mahi-mahi, king mackerel, and black fin tuna. it was fun and impressive to watch them do what it takes to make it happen. plenty of fresh fish for dinner delicious! thank you for the fantastic memory
Thank you to Captain Steve and his crew. It was my teenage son’s first time deep sea fishing, and he had a blast! The staff was so patient and did so well explaining things. My son even got a shark on the line. He was so excited! When we go back to Miami, we will book with Fen Way again! I was my son’s cheerleader, and I enjoyed soaking in the sun! A memory to cherish forever!!
