Species like Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Yellow Perch, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to stay fueled throughout your trip!

Capt. Stanley operates a 20’ StarCraft deck boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
