Took my 12-year-old daughter out on the Miss Molly for her very first fishing trip, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. Capt. Molly and her co-captain Bruce were awesome from the start—super friendly, knew exactly where the fish were, and made the whole experience fun instead of intimidating. What really stood out was how Capt. Molly connected with my daughter. She kept her engaged the entire time, explained things in a way that made sense, and helped her shake off the nerves about being out on the ocean. By the end of the trip, my daughter was smiling ear to ear and reeling in her own catch like a pro. Bruce was great too—always ready to lend a hand or share a tip. Between the two of them, they made us feel comfortable, safe, and excited the whole time. This trip wasn’t just about catching fish (though we did!); it was about creating a memory my daughter and I will never forget. If you’re looking for a fun, family-friendly fishing adventure, I can’t recommend Miss Molly enough.

We had an incredible day out on the water with Molly Boat, owned and operated by Captain Molly. This was my son’s first real sea fishing trip, and it turned into a truly unforgettable experience. In past attempts he could barely catch anything, but this time was a complete turnaround. We were lucky to have Captain Bruce join us, and together they made the perfect team. Both were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and great with kids. They explained every step clearly and kept the excitement high throughout the trip. My son was thrilled to land his first big catch ever — a leopard shark close to 60 lbs. We went on to catch several more, including three varieties of sharks and even a stingray. The bonus highlight was Captain Bruce’s pet sea lions. We saved some fish heads for them, and watching them respond to his calls and show up for treats was magical. The kids were completely fascinated and probably enjoyed the sea lion moment just as much as the fishing. Overall, an amazing trip and a perfect first sea fishing memory for my son. Highly recommend Captain Molly and Molly Boat if you want a fun, safe, and unforgettable day on the water.

We had a great/fun/ successful 5 hour charter with Miss Molly and mate Bruce. We caught 10 shark, 3 different types and 1 bat ray. The boat was very comfortable when we needed to get out of the cool air and out of the sun. My grandson had been hoping to catch shark and Molly and Bruce made it happen. Bruce cleaned and fillet our shark and provided bags to put the fillets in until we got to the car where we had our coolers. Molly and Bruce had several stories about fishing locations and the variety of fish that are typically caught during through out the year. Fun trip and well worth it.

Simply put - I’ve been fishing for 35 years. This was, hands down, the best fishing trip I’ve had ever. Captain Molly was absolutely fabulous - from communication to execution. We caught 14 shark in 4 hours (I think we were exceptionally lucky), she supplies snacks and drinks, and makes the entire experience an absolute hoot. Unquestionably, we’re now sold on Captain Molly and plan to fish with her on a regular basis. 100% recommended. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

When I chose Miss Molly, she wasn't least expensive nor most expensive, but 28 yrs in this business and larger boat than most. But here's the thing, I felt her pride of craft without the ego, bravado or competitiveness of several of my other choices! I simply wanted to cross my very first item on my bucket list for 42 yrs now, catch a shark! didn’t care how big or small nor the species. So reviewing the weatherbug app and communication from Miss Molly about heavier winds in the afternoon, would I want to join 6am trip instead. I explained it really couldn't work with our schedule, and she said, "Ok". However, my wife had let Miss Molly know, wasn't interested in any other fish, only sharks! This is where the fun starts.... in her and Capt. Bruce's generosity, even though I paid fee for one of 5 fishermen, I got Captain Miss Molly and Captain Bruce ALL TO MYSELF!!! A 500% increased value that I couldn't have afforded even though my desires were selfishly my own, they didn’t do what I saw some other guides do in my past, CANCEL the trip! They did NOT do that, and I was gobsmacked at their generosity, AND how beautiful of people these two are!!! So before Monday, I prayed for 3 things, 1. That the waters would be calm and still; 2. If possible, I'd catch a bigger than normal shark, and 3. that I wouldn't get my usual seasickness. PRAYER WORKS, as did my patch I asked my Dr to prescribe for me, he did!!! Where she took us was roughly 50 minutes at 12 mph, and both her and Capt Bruce could NOT believe the calmness, I confessed to praying! And as they put rods out, we got a false bite on first rod, but 2nd bite was LEGIT! I got put onto a chunky fish, but the way it fought, thought it might be a halibut, or a ray?! Super strong, not even like a Red, really strong, but low and behold, it was a VERY large Leopard Shark!!! And a few times it managed to wiggle loose and onto deck, it was right out of Lethal Weapon scene LOL 😆 BUT honestly, we could have returned to base!!! Of course we didn't, but doggone it, Miss Molly lived up to my expectations and so far beyond! I know from buddies, fishing for sharks WITHOUT CHUM, can be hours and hours of waiting and more praying! Not here with Miss Molly, we weren't in the water but maybe 6 minutes before I was on my dream shark! But even whilst waiting on the gate for her to bring me aboard, I saw a mother and daughter coming up with bags of fish meat to send home! They both had huge smiles, so I guessed, "Were you out with Miss Molly?" They were, but with those smiles, my question was all but rhetorical! I was even more excited as they recounted the highlights of their trip!!! I digress, next we got onto a brown smooth-hound shark! So not only did I get one species of shark, now I got TWO! I ended up catching 4 of those plus my "Boat Record" Leopard Shark, estimated at 4 to 4½ ft, possibly 50+ lbs too!!! After that we all decided to try for some other species, and before you know it, time to head back to Harbor! BUT one of the live bait bites I had just off the bridge, I felt MASSIVE flat fish POWER!!! Unfortunately I didn’t convert to a solid hook-up, but that was on me alone!!! So here's the bottom-line, IF you want to feel like a VIP, IF you want two incredible people guiding you, and IF you want to avoid any ego or competitiveness, and she has a spot open??? Choose Captain Miss Molly and Captain Bruce, just the boat ride and conversations alone were worth it, I kid you not, no matter what, Lord willing I'll have many future opportunities to return for another one, but lets be honest, you and I both know I'm gonna try and do an individual all day with these two out to sea for Tigers or Great Whites Hahahaha 😆
