Welcome aboard! I’m Captain Molly, a San Francisco native and one of the few female USCG-licensed Captains guiding on the Bay.
Because I run private charters for a maximum of 4 guests, this isn't your standard crowded fishing trip. When you book with me, the day is entirely yours. Whether you are bringing family, close friends, or corporate clients, my goal is to give you a relaxing, fun, and completely tailored experience on the water.
I’m out on the water 4 to 5 days a week tracking the fish, but once you step on deck, this trip is all about you.
About the Vessel: The Miss Molly
The Miss Molly is a premium, fully USCG-compliant vessel equipped with the highest standard of safety gear, including AIS and an EPIRB. Designed with comfort in mind, she features:
A clean, heated, and air-conditioned cabin.
Comfortable, pristine upholstered seating.
A private, immaculate marine restroom (head).
A fresh, clean, and welcoming environment from bow to stern.
What We Catch
While nature never comes with a 100% guarantee, the San Francisco Bay and surrounding ocean waters offer incredible seasonal angling. Depending on the time of year, we target:
Halibut, Striped Bass, and Salmon
Rockfish, Lingcod, and Sand Dabs
Sharks, Skates, and Rays

Arrival & Boarding: When you arrive at the marina gate, simply text me to let me know you're here, and I will come up to escort you to the boat.
Fishing Licenses: Every angler needs a valid California Fishing License. Pro-Tip: Head to the CA Department of Fish and Wildlife website, create an account first, and then purchase your license through that account for the smoothest process.
Liability Waiver: Keep an eye on your inbox for our waiver.
I have everything you need aboard the Vessel except a sandwich.

My 11 year old son and I reached out to Captain Molly the day before our requested fishing trip, and she immediately responded with a resounding yes 😀 It was my son's first time on a fishing charter, and he has been asking to go on one for at least 2 years. Molly and Junior exceeded all expectations! They were incredibly kind, helpful, and patient, and they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It felt like I was fishing with a friend who I had known for a long time! We were also subject to a random safety inspection from the Coast Guard, and Molly's crew and boat easily passed. It was clear from the moment we stepped foot on the boat that safety is a priority, and it showed. I absolutely recommend Molly, and cant wait to fish with her and Junior again in the near future!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing 5–6 hour fishing trip with Captain Molly and Junior! This trip was especially meaningful because we were celebrating my elderly father’s birthday, and they helped make it a day we’ll always remember. From the very beginning, Captain Molly was a wonderful communicator. She was responsive, informative, and incredibly accommodating, even with our last-minute booking. Her flexibility and willingness to work with us made planning the trip stress-free and allowed us to celebrate my dad’s special day exactly how we had hoped. Once on the water, Captain Molly was professional, knowledgeable, and calm. She navigated the boat smoothly, creating a comfortable and relaxing experience for everyone on board. Junior was equally fantastic. He was friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer guidance and assistance. The fishing was exciting and kept us engaged throughout the trip. We caught two bass that we were able to keep, along with a shark, a baby halibut, and a stingray. The variety of catches made for a fun and memorable adventure. What stood out most was the overall atmosphere. The trip was relaxed, enjoyable, and perfectly paced. Seeing my dad smiling and having such a great time on his birthday made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for a fishing charter with a knowledgeable captain, excellent communication, flexibility, and a genuinely enjoyable experience, I highly recommend Captain Molly and Junior. We had an absolute blast and can’t wait to book another trip with them! 🎣🎉

Every year I take my grandsons (17 & 13) on a trip somewhere to expose them to something they haven’t done or seen… The fishing trip with Molly and Jr yesterday was this year’s experience. On meeting Molly, she asked what the boys wanted to do… And she delivered everything they wanted and more. The boys caught fish to take home, got to fight some worthy opponents of the water, learned some things about fishing, and were treated to learning how important it is to know the water and its inhabitants. Kudos to Molly and Jr. It was a day that the boys will never forget.

It was a little too windy to head out past the Golden Gate, so we tried a few areas in the bay. Captain Molly and Junior turned a slow day on the water into a really good day. Got about a dozen hits, but unfortunately, only one keeper. Very relaxing time and a lot of knowledge shared. Just a very chill atmosphere and experience. 6 hours went by faster than I could ever imagine. Will not hesitate to book with Captain Molly again, looking forward to the salmon season to go out again. Thank you so much Captain Molly and Junior for the wonderful time!!!!!!!!!
We went out on a 7 hour trip and had a great time! Molly and Court we great and really had a good feel for places to go for fishing. We had plenty of time so we went outside of the Golden Gate and caught 20 rockfish in about 2 hours! we changed things up and tried for Halibut and Stripers but didnt have as good a luck. We came awsy with a lot of fish, some amazing views and just a great day out.
