Captain Sean Stafford will take you inshore, nearshore, as well as offshore and make sure you have a terrific time chasing many prized species. Join him in Richmond and create beautiful memories on the water!
Your adventure will start on a 29' Defiance pilothouse that runs on two 250 HP Honda engines and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The boat uses modern GPS, fishfinder, radio, as well as radar technology that will keep you on the right track. There's also a portable toilet you can use.
You and the captain will be bottom fishing and trolling the San Francisco Bay. The species you'll have the opportunity to catch include Chinook Salmon, Rockfish, Striped Bass, Halibut, and Lingcod. You get to keep all the fish you catch and take it home to enjoy delicious meals. Kids are more than welcome to join aboard, so bring them as well and spend a wonderful time in nature together.
Captain Sean will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, and will also clean and fillet your catch. What you should bring are snacks, drinks, and fishing licenses.

sturgeon and striper fishing

planned a trip for my husband and a few friends for his birthday it was there first time doing a fishing charter and it did not disappoint! sean and ricky are fantastic at what they do they know exactly where the fish are and how to catch them not only did the group end up catching 13 sturgeon and 3 strippers but they had a great time doing it the crew was very personable and made the whole trip a blast. we plan on booking another trip with them in the future when the tuna start running. definitely worth the money!

Stepped on a nice Admiral Guadalupe to a friendly crew and two set of rods set up for halibut and Stripers.
Captain got us underway quickly and picked up a good amount of live bait and took us to the bass ground anchored up and had us limited off bass by the time the sun was just rising above the fog.
Quickly moved to fishing in the bay and I was lucky enough to connect with a nice halibut within minutes. After that it was a grind through sharks and then the bite turned hot. (3) fish to fill limits and they were chewing as we were reeling up.
Captain got us headed back while deck cleaned boat kept fish on ice, bled and rinsed throughout the day. Deckhand William did a great job cleaning our fish. Captain and crew respected the fish and treated us like friends.

Just for the Halibut

I fish with a lot of professional guides (e.g., 9 different guides last year and 10 already this year) all over the country, both freshwater and saltwater. I nearly always catch a bunch of fish, and this trip was no exception. We fished in San Francisco Bay and targeted California halibut, a species I’d never caught before (or even seen). I caught a bunch of smaller halibut and then had to quit with my limit of two beautiful keepers, an 8-pounder and a 12-pounder. Captain Sean Stafford and his mate William were excellent. Sean offers a wide range of fish-target trips, depending on the season and the demand. I would gladly go on any fishing trip with Sean.

Great Time out in the SF Bay

Took my 13 year old son and three of his buddies out fishing with this charter. Captain Sean and his first mate, William, couldn't have been better hosts. The rods, LIVE bait (a big hit with the kids), beverages and safety gear were provided, and the kids were set up for a very successful afternoon out on the water. They caught a few small halibut, a couple of striped bass and a few different species of sharks. Most importantly, the trip felt very safe and the crew was knowledgeable. Grateful to them for kindly putting up with four very excited, hyper and chatty boys - highly recommend!

Cold day in the Delta.

Despite it being a cold and cloudy day, everyone was enthusiastic about going out and looking for a hook up. Captain and crew were great. Always there helping. Regaling us with his knowledge and adventures. We all shared our stories and memories. We all learned a little bit about each other. Came away with some memories that will last. Stories to tell.
