Book your next trip with Early Bird Outfitter and find out what you’re missing in Kalama. Captain Joshua will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep ‘em happy!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 14’ Headwaters Marine fishing boat that can carry up to 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Joshua will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Early Bird Outfitter!
