Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be dropping lines from a 29' Hydra-Sports walkaround that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Water and soft drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.

I did the 6 hour deep sea fishing trip with Captain Luis and his first mate. It was an absolutely incredible trip. Within the first 90 minutes we brought in 2 mahi mahi, one of them being 40 pounds. Throughout the process they were so educated on any question I had about fishing or Puerto Rico in general. After the mahi, we hooked tons of tuna. At one point we had a 100 pound tuna that a shark decided to steal after an hour battle. In total, 2 mahi, one being massive 40 pounder and then 3 smaller tuna but incredible fights. They fileted the fish for me with captain Luis' father educating me on even more. I took home a combined 20 pounds of mahi and tuna. captain luis makes sure to get you pictures of the increible views and especially with your great catch that he will take you too. Incredible charter that I will be back for. Thank you so much pier 10 and especially captain luis and his first mate!!!!

While on a Caribbean cruise we booked a 6 hour trip with Pier 10. Captain Luis was more than accommodating as our curise was late to dock. Went out to try to catch some tuna, but it just wasn't our day. Both my son and I got sea sick on the first run and were not feeling well. The captain suggested to move into the bay and do some bottom fishing. It was much smoother in the bay and we finished our trip having a good time. We didn't end up catching any fish, but we still had a great time and would do it again! Thank you to Captain Luis and 1st mate We. We had a good time and will book again when we get back to PR!

This trip was perfect since the captain told us to re-schedule due to bad weather. He was mindful enough to let us change to a later date to make the most out of the trip. The day of the trip was excellent from start to finish. Beginning with a very warm welcome, to simple instructions, to enjoying our trip. The catch of the day was also excellent, all four of us caught once and most caught twice. Mahi-mahi, Wahoo and shark. The captain also got us around a storm and gave us extra time to fish which was awesome. The co-captain was super helpful and very cool guy. We had the best experience fishing ever.

I recently went on a fishing trip with Captain Luis, my son, and two of my cousins, and it truly turned out to be one of the best experiences we've ever had on the water. From the very beginning, Captain Luis and his assistant made us feel welcome, comfortable, and excited about the day ahead. What really stood out was how hard Captain Luis worked to make sure everyone in our group caught fish. He didn't just drive the boat – he explained everything about the fishing process, from the techniques to the types of fish we were catching, and he did it with patience and passion. His assistant was equally amazing – very fun, outgoing, and full of energy. Even though I don't remember his name, he was a huge part of making the trip so enjoyable. Throughout the entire trip, there were jokes, laughter, and good vibes. Both Luis and his assistant created an atmosphere where everyone could relax, learn, and have fun at the same time. It wasn't just about fishing – it was about creating memories. My son and my cousins still can't stop talking about it! If you're looking for a captain and crew who are not only professional and knowledgeable, but also genuinely care about giving you the best possible experience, Captain Luis is the one to go with. caught a very nice mahi and had a great day on the water ! Had a few more fish on the line that escaped !! Captain Luis is a great captain and boat was nice and quiet trolling. The location of the marina was a little challenging for our Uber driver but we made it. My ONLY other comment would be that the marina area for guest, could use a little clearing of junk. Be happy and go fishing !
