Spend the day with J&J Sportfishing and get hooked on fishing in Mexico! Captain Jeffrey will be your guide, giving you access to years of professional experience.

Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Pink Salmon, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. For these species, you’re likely to troll.

J&J Sportfishing is a kid-friendly charter service, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!

You’ll be casting lines from a 27’ Penn Yan sportfishing vessel that holds up to 4 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Jeffrey will supply rods and reels for you.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

Before coming aboard, it will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don’t leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
