Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Child-sized life vests are available, but you may also bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring drinks and snacks!
You'll be fishing aboard a 26.5' Hewescraft aluminum fishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, please buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be out of season so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We booked this fishing trip late in the season, and to say the conditions were challenging would be an understatement. It was cold, windy, and there were a lot of waves. Honestly, this trip almost felt like it wasn’t meant to happen. Captain Skylar reached out right away and was completely upfront about what we were up against. My teenage kids and I knew the conditions wouldn’t be easy, but they were up for the challenge. Once we decided to go, Captain Skylar took care of everything — giving us the meeting spot and time and answering all of our questions, including all the questions from my kids. After eight hours on the water, we only landed three fish, but every one of us ended the day with a smile on our faces. What really stands out to me is that Captain Skylar could have easily said, “The conditions are too rough, let’s reschedule,” but instead, he gave us the choice, explained what we were facing, and helped us make the decision for ourselves. For me, this trip was about much more than the number of fish we caught. We accepted the challenge, and Captain Skylar helped create memories that my kids and I will talk about for a long time. Knowing the battle we accepted going into it, I consider this trip a huge success. Sometimes the best fishing trips aren’t measured by how many fish you bring home, but by the memories you make along the way. Thank you, Captain Skylar, for making it an experience we won’t forget!
