Never Forgotten Fishing Charters
If fishing in Oswego, Scriba, Mexico Point, or Henderson is on your bucket list, look no further than Never Forgotten Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these waters, Captain Skyler can tell you all about them.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Lake Trout, Brown Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Coho Salmon, Walleye, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, and whatever else is biting. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Child-sized life vests are available, but you may also bring your own. Customers are encouraged to bring drinks and snacks!
You'll be fishing aboard a 26.5' Hewescraft aluminum fishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
Before coming aboard, please buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be out of season so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't leave home without sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Never Forgotten Fishing Charters!

Me and friends made a charter with Capt.Skyler and we enjoyed the trip to the fullest. Capt.Skyler is amazing and was helpful all throughout. Will definetely go again with him next year.

Thank you, I enjoyed taking your group on the water. Looking forward to it again sometime.
My love for fishing began as soon as I could hold a rod. My dad introduced me to the outdoors at a young age, and I grew up casting for brook trout in the remote Adirondack lakes and chasing bass on the waters of Lake Ontario. As I got older, he introduced me to salmon fishing on the big lake—a moment that changed everything. From that point on, I was hooked. In 2012, I experienced a tremendous personal loss when my dad passed away while fishing for brown trout on Lake Ontario near Henderson Harbor. That day changed my life forever, but it also inspired the name of our business—Never Forgotten Fishing Charters—a tribute to my father and the unforgettable memories we created on the water together. Today, I carry on that legacy. I work full-time as a school resource officer and dedicate weekends during the school year and my summers off to charter fishing. We're a family-oriented operation, and nothing brings us more joy than sharing the experience of fishing with others. My wife and our three kids love being out on the boat, and we strive to create the same kind of meaningful, lasting memories for our clients that I was lucky enough to have growing up. At Never Forgotten Fishing Charters, it's not just about catching fish—it's about connection, tradition, and honoring the ones who came before us.
