With a lifetime of experience fishing Casco Bay from the Royal River to the Fore River and the Back Bay, Capt. Aaron Landry offers anglers a full tour of tributaries, flats and beaches, as well as the rocky shores of Cape Elizabeth and the many islands located off Portland.
Anglers can expect a highly visual experience fishing in shallow water, often spotting the fish before casting. From years of angling in the waters of Casco Bay, Capt. Aaron has a deep knowledge of the Striped Bass population that migrates into the Gulf of Maine each year.
Capt. Aaron tailors the trip around anglers’ desires as well as weather, tide schedules, and migration status of fish. Charters will primarily focus on Striped Bass. Other species can be targeted upon request. Anglers are provided rods, reels, and tackle for all fishing situations.
The boat will be stocked with a cooler of ice, Gatorade, and water and licenses are included.

My friends and I are 4 girls who have limited to no experience with sea fishing. Captain Aaron was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and gave us the perfect experience. You can tell that he is super passionate about what he does and his enjoyment is infectious. He was really patient and was a great teacher. We would recommend this charter to anyone and everyone and will definitely be booking again. First fish EVER!!

This was a birthday present for my best friend's 12 yr
son. He is so into fishing but has bever caught a fish. This turned out to be the best present ever! He not only call his first fish, but was the first one on the trip to catch a fish. Aaron was awesome! He patiently answered all of our questions and was as excited as we were when Zander caught his fish. We have already talked about making this an annual thing

Family Friendly Fishing Trip

My family had a lot of fun fishing with Rock and Sand Charter. Although we weren’t able to catch a stripper, we caught a ton of mackerel. The captain was super friendly and knowledgeable of the area! Highly recommend!
