You can expect to do some spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Patrick also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll step aboard a 30' Parker sportfishing vessel with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Patrick has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don't leave home without a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Overall an amazing day out on the water with Captain Patrick. We were lucky enough to catch three keeper size striped bass. Captain knows the area very well and was able to reccomend places to eat and visit while on our trip. Would absolutely recommend booking a charter with Pine State Guide Service and we defintiely plan on going again!

thank you Jacob for you kind words. what a great day catching both on chunks and live Mac’s. I certainly wish you all well and hope to see you back. Safe travels home

Pat is a born and raised Maine native, so he really knew the area and tell us about the area while we were in on a camping trip. My girlfiend and I had the best time. He took us to his top secret fishing hole and the reels were spinning! Bagged a few stripers. Throughout fishing, we had some time to explore the coast and Pat showed us all the historical remains along with stories.

thank you Joe and Jen for the kind review. it certainly was a pleasuee meeting you both. Should you return to Maine please reach out should you need a resourse. Safe travels home and enjoy rhe Striper!
We had a great day with patrick. He is very knowledgeable and a good teacher to those of us who were inexperienced on the water. We managed to catch two beautiful stripers!
