Marathon has a fish with your name on it, so let Off The Hook Charters help you catch it! With Captain Collin at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Species like Black Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Caribbean Queen Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Red Grouper, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellowtail Snapper, Lobster, Mangrove Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, and more can be found in these waters if you cast your line at the right time of year. On the day of your trip you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Capt. Collin believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 29’ SeaVee center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials. Capt. Collin will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Off The Hook Charters.
