No complaints about the boat; just as advertised.  It’s crowded, but priced accordingly.  The captain did a great job finding fish.  No wasted time.  If the fish weren’t there, we moved on.  A few tangles but the crew did a good job quickly sorting them out.

One part of the trip really rubbed me wrong.  My girlfriend caught the biggest fish of her life: a good sized Bonita.  The crew helped her land it and since it was too big to fit in the cooler under the seat, they moved it to the main cooler.  I heard one of the deckhands say, “if they don’t want that fish,  I’ll take it.”  We did want to keep the fish.  When we stopped to fish at the next wreck, I looked behind us to see a member of the crew casting an entire side of our fish out to fish for a shark.  I was not happy.  I called a deckhand over and asked why they would use our fish for bait without asking us.  He had a sudden look of panic and tried to explain that “most” people don’t keep them.  The ironic part is that he was the same deckhand that I heard saying he would like to keep it.

I didn’t make a huge fuss at the time because we still had fish to catch.  I did explain to him they should never think it’s ok to use a customer’s fish for their bait without asking.

Overall I would recommend this boat and trip for people that want to catch a few fish and get offshore.

Captain and crew were excellent. The only complaint was the rough seas but that’s mother nature. The captain worked very hard to keep us on the fish. Making the trip as enjoyable as possible was priority.
