Sweet Jody Family Adventures 

We had a few people who coukd not get out of bed for 730am. So we were running behind. We got a text at about 720 to make sure we were coming. Which made the trip seem personal. They did not just assume we were not coming. We had a large party of ten half should up just in time and the other half was 8 minutes late. the staff was very kind and did wait knowing we were on our way. we are so grateful they waited for us. We had a great time on the boat and caught a bunch of fish. The ride was rought and people definetly got sick as the ride out is about ine hour and 30 minutes. I would not reccomend taking this trip of you are easily prone to motion sickeness. Otherwise I would highly recommend this trip.

We had 13 in our group and all enjoyed ourselves! Nate was our favorite, he was ingaging, and had a great sense of humor. We will definitely be back to see the crew on the Sweet Jody! I would recommend this trip for kids over the age of 10 yrs old that are independent with most tasks and have some fishing experience. If you bring younger kids that require losts of help/engagement, be prepared to provide the support instead of fishing yourself. The fish are caught and then taken off by the crew members very quickly. This crew provided our novice fishing members plenty of support! Thanks guys! Best, B

I recently went on a fishing trip that turned out to be an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Everything about the trip exceeded my expectations—the water, the action, and especially the people. The crew and captains were absolutely top-notch. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everyone was comfortable, having fun, and actually catching fish. You could tell they genuinely cared about giving us a great experience, and it made all the difference. The atmosphere on the boat was laid-back but professional, and they were always quick to help, offer tips, or just share a good laugh. Whether you’re experienced or new to fishing, they make it easy to enjoy yourself. It’s rare to find a group that works so well together and keeps the energy positive the entire time. This trip is something I’ll be talking about for a long time, and I’ll definitely be making it a priority to do it again. If you’re thinking about booking a trip, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it. The Captain and crew are amazing! They wee very helpful, laughed and joked with us, I even got to help a little lol. Nick, Clay, and "Bama," were the best!!!!!!!!! We caught 60 something fish I believe. I didnt realize we could take beer on the trip, so if you drink def pack your icechest. Also take cash, my phone died so quick and I had no way to tip them, which is how the crew makes their money, I did however send later to their cashapp. Hands down amazing! We seen other crews on the dock and no one seemed a friendly as ours.

This crew did a phenomenal job at making sure the customers were having a great time. Their willingness to help and interact with the clients definitely didnt go unseen. Special thank you to Mr Steve as he was a top class deck hand. His kindness in noticing my sister having a rough time not feeling well and made her whole trip in a quick hurry catching two red snappers. That was very much appreciated and wont be forgotten! We will definitely be booking with yall again! Keep up the great work!

We left out at 2:30 pm and headed about 1 hour into the Gulf. Crew mates Jackson and Blake explained the strategy and then before you know it we were fishing. my 7 year old instantly caught trigger fish and ruby lip while older boy was cranking them in as fast at he could retrieve the 1lbs weight and sometimes 2 fish on the same drop! Jackson, Blake , and captain Aaron were awesome, very knowledgeable and very helpful! Multiple big fish were hooked up but only few mad it in. Overall a great time!

Superb from start to finish. Why pay more ??Easy to find, easy parking (charged), great crew, loads of catches - Mingo, Trigger, Mackerel, Perch. Skipper determined to find the good fishing grounds. Catch cleaning/ prep service available once back at the marina for a very modest cost. Take a cooler, drinks and food.

We caught several fish and our crew were amazing! We caught more than we expected and the dolphins and little flying fish we seen was a bonus! The crew did a phenomenal job at assisting everyone. this trip is great for people of all ages! Id advise something for sea sickness if you are prone to that but overall an amazing time!! We will be booking agian in the future and perhaps take the 8 hour adventure. They also do dolphin tours if you’re not into fishing!

My daughter and I had another great day fishing with Sweet Jody. Sexond time on the boat and they don't disappoint. if you are looking for an inexpensive fishing trip, with a high chance of going home with table fare fish with this boat. From the captain to the crew they all treat everyone great. They also clean your catch for you if you need that done. Don't hesitate and book with Sweet Jody for a great day on the water. had a fabulous time. Moose and John were fabulous 👌 helping us out getting fish off the hook and preparing bait. Captain did a great job getting is on the fish. Once our lines went down the fish started hitting within a minute or so. had a great time and will do it again. be prepared for sun with hat and sunglasses and sunscreen, have wipes on hand. snacks and drinks. Be ready to catch a lot of fish!!!
