Get Reel Sportfishing
If you're going to cast a line in Fort Lauderdale, look no further than Get Reel Sportfishing. Your guide for the day is Captain Colton and/or Captain Hector, which allows you to benefit from years of local experience.
King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Bonito, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Vermilion Snapper, and more are in the cards if conditions are right. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Get Reel also offers kite fishing.
Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. We provide water but you're welcome to bring snacks and any beverages you’d like! (No infants children 4+)
Your fishing machine for the day is a 36’ Palmetto center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), drinks, and a hat. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3 hour quick trip/beginner
Great day on the water
Went out today with Captain Roli. It was my nephew's first time out on a boat. We had a blast!!! My 11 year old nephew caught a huge black fin tuna. We also caught a bonita and a couple snapper. Unlike most boats I have been on, we had lines in the water within about 15 minutes of departing, which meant more time fishing than any charter I have been on. We will definitely be back and I would recommend them highly. Thank you guys so much!!!!

Sunshine and good vibes
We had an amazing experience with Get Reel Fishing Charters! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and a ton of fun. Our captain, Colton, was outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He put us right on the fish and made sure we had a great time doing it. We ended up catching a Bonita, a barracuda, and even a kingfish—what a thrill! The boat was clean and well-equipped, and Colton went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and involved in the action.

Solid!
Went out for dolphin on a 6 hour trip with Capt. Rollie. The boat was plenty big enough for the four of us. Although we only caught one dolphin, we brought home plenty of meat because we hooked up with a really good size wahoo, along with a blackfin tuna. Oh, and we had lots of fun with the sailfish we brought on board! Great trip!

Birthday Fishing Trip!
It was my grandson's 13th birthday so his dad surprised him with a fishing excursion in Florida that included the 3 of us. We flew in from Maine and had a great time! We all caught a variety of fish and my grandson even caught the fish of his lifetime...a 65" sailfish! The crew on both days were fun, professional and experienced and worked hard so we could fish in challenging conditions. We would highly recommend Get Reel Sportfishing for a trip you will always remember!

We had a great time!
Colton and Hector went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience! We caught barracuda and bonitas — it was an absolute blast. We had our two boys with us, and they were amazing with them — super patient, helpful, and full of guidance. Both were incredibly professional and clearly passionate about what they do.
