You'll be fishing aboard a Bertram 35 Sport Fisherman with capacity for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
All you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

We went out with Captain Regelio and his crew on June 2nd, 2026 and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our trip was scheduled for 8:00 a.m., and they were ready to leave by 7:50, which immediately showed their professionalism and respect for our time. Captain Regelio was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and was always quick to respond to any questions before our arrival. His communication put me completely at ease when booking the trip. The crew was fantastic—professional, hardworking, and focused on making sure we had a successful fishing trip. We didn't book a tequila cruise; we booked a fishing charter, and that's exactly what we got. The crew worked nonstop helping us stay on the fish, and we caught some great tuna and mahi-mahi. Captain Regeilo also provided drinks, including beer if we wanted it, and some really good ham and cheese sandwiches that were perfect for a day on the water. I would absolutely book with Captain Regeilo and his crew again. If you're looking for a professional fishing charter with a hardworking crew that puts in the effort to help you catch fish, I highly recommend them. I know there is not a crew out there that can guarantee results but they definitely put the work in and we had great results.
Captain Rogelio and his crew were super!They were knowledgeable! They know where the fish are! We had so much fun. The three of us caught six large Amberjack. Very exciting when we reeled them in! His boat was very nice and he brought plenty of beer, water and soda for everyone, along with snacks. His crew worked hard preparing the fishing reels and keeping them baited and at the end they p I would highly recommend Chica Local Sport fishing.

Couldn't have been better. Took my grandson barracuda fishing and it more than we expected. Great day. Caught 6 large barracuda in 4 hours with one huge one. Fernando and the Captaing were outstanding hosts. would easily recommend anytime.

The boat was very comfortable and well maintained. The captain and first mate knew what they were doing and caught us a lot of fish - about a dozen barracuda in all ranging from small to large. I would highly recommend this team.
Captain Rogelio was super! He was very friendly and I could tell he was experienced. He made sure we all caught fish and had a great time!! The boat was clean and in great condition. I would recommend this trip to anyone!
