These waters are known for Black Drum, Catfish, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Ladyfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Jorge can also take you Flounder gigging.
Trips with Reel Escape are fun for all ages, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your adventure begins aboard a 24' Shallow Sport center console with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
