Wing & Rod Guide Service offers guided fishing trips in and around Rockport, Port Aransas, San Antonio Bay, and Laguna Madre. With an experienced local Captain Ben Wells at the helm, this is a chance for you and your family to sample everything Rockport’s famous inshore fishery has to offer.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 22’ Skeeter center console boat that offers a dry and fast ride. Featuring a 250 HP Yamaha motor and a GPS, an anchoring system, a trolling motor, and an icebox for your drinks, the boat has everything you need for a fun day on the water.
Captain Ben Wells specializes in bay fishing, and fishes with both live bait and lures for Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Black Drum. He usually runs these charters in the Spring and Summer, moving onto his airboat to target Redfish in the Fall and Winter months. These shallow waters are famous for the variety of species that inhabit them, so there’s always something to target.
All the fishing equipment you will need during your trip is included in the price, and Captain Ben will even clean and fillet your fish for you at the end of the day at no additional cost. Please remember to bring a Texas saltwater fishing license for all eligible anglers, as well as any snacks and drinks you may want during your trip.
