Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Alligator Gar, Flathead, Catfish, and whatever else takes the bait. You can expect to do some spinning, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be dropping lines from a 18' Lowe aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 5 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Capt. Richard will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Great trip. being from the northeast we don't see catfish anywhere close to that size.

I fished with Big Rich for biiiig Alligator Gar and boy did he produce! In just a couple hours I caught 2 fish over 6 ft.! Amazing! Rich had a decent utilitarian boat with a strong jet. The gear was top of the line Penn runner reels and strong Hellcat rods. It all worked very well with no glitches. Rich is a great guy who cares about the both the fish and his clients. He had no problem jumping in the water to take care of the fish and worked hard to get me a fish. Top notch! Give BigRich a go for the fish of a lifetime! Mark

What a GREAT experience! Im just a mom who knows NOTHING about fishing however my 7 year old son enjoys fishing and the outdoors. Captain Rich had all the knowledge, skills, and knew exactly the best spot to fish. My son had a blast he caught a 25lbs, 30lbs, and 4lbs catfish. 3 catfishes in one trip (our first boat trip ever)… definitely made lifetime memories! If you book with Captain Rich I will assure you, you will have zero regrets and have a blast out in the water!
The Captain was very knowledgeable of the lake and we were able to catch several different kinds of fish today. We even caught a turtle which was pretty awesome. With the weather conditions that we had today he really did an amazing job helping us have a great fishing experience.
