Amberjack, Yellowtail Snapper, Red Grouper, Scup (Porgy), Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, and more inhabit these waters, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be casting lines from a 24' Tidewater center console with capacity for 8 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. George has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.

Fantastic Half Day with My Son! Cozy Waters 100%

My son and I had pretty much the perfect experience. Over the years I have fished the Bahamas many times, these guys were fantastic. Clean/ newer boat. We got on a drift line with birds and hooked up big barracuda then went to the bottom spot and welled 3 nice Trigger for dinner. My son is 7yr old. This was perfect. Great Guys ! Very Professional and Nice to Be Around. A Total Blessing for us! Thanks Ya'll, we will book again!! May the Lord Be with Cozy Waters!

Best Nassau Excursion Ever!

We booked an 4hr AM trip while were at port during our cruise and had the best time! First, they let us adjust our start time to 9am because we couldn't get off the ship until 8:30am and they picked us up at Senor Frogs, which was a short walk from port. I was a little sad to not get to meet George but his son, DeVonte, was just as amazing, I'm sure! We started with fishing but it was very windy and the sea was choppy, 2 of our 4 kids caught something, a trigger fish and a strawberry grouper. Since the weather wasn't cooperating we couldn't go to the prime fishing spot. DeVonte and Tyler were great at helping keep the bate on and helping if anyone needed it. We moved to a 2nd spot for a little more fishing and then they offered to move on to snorkeling since we weren't catching much and we did. We loved snorkeling and searching for conch. We got up close and personal with a couple sea turtles and DeVonte taught the kids how to look for conch. He was able to find 5 or 6 to add to our 2 fish. After plenty of snorkeling we got off the boat on a dock and explored an island that had amazing views and a beautiful beach where they played some sand volleyball. We got back in the boat and headed back towards the port, stopping a little ways before, where we just relaxed and enjoyed the ocean and some music while Devonte and Tyler cleaned the fish and conch and cooked it for us to enjoy! Our kids want to fly back to Nassau and do an entire day with Cozy Waters! Thanks again guys for a great experience!

Sometimes you never know who/what you might get when booking a charter, but this is a can’t miss. I booked a trip for me and my two sons (16 & 13) and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. Captain George and his 1st mate (his son Devonte) were friendly and great with the boys. They made sure everyone caught fish and were happy to tailer the trip to whatever we wanted. It was pretty cool that they cleaned and cooked our catch right on the boat so we were able to feast on our catch on the way back in. I’d recommend this charter to anyone, especially if it’s a family trip and you want everyone to have some fun. Sometimes you book these things and some sketchy folks meet you at the dock when you get there. We felt very safe with these folks Its a nice family business that cares about doing the right thing. Highly recommend.

We had a great time with Cozy Waters! George, Action and Devonte were a lot of fun and worked hard to create a personalized adventure for us. They are amazing and made us all wish we could spend more time with them. Everyone caught fish! It was my daughter's birthday and so Action created his trademark shirts and headbands for her and my wife, even gifting his own shorts to finish the look. We sang happy birthday and ate "birthday cake" (crackers) on the boat while fishing. They brought us to a nice snorkeling spot that we had all to ourselves with plenty of fish, conch, and sand dollars to find. It was a special day and I cannot thank you fellas enough for the great time on the water.

George and his son provided a super fun near shore fishing trip, perfect for our short stop on our cruise ship. The boat was very nice and new center console boat with a GPS positioning trolling motor that kept us on top of the fish. We caught about 10 or more fish each. At the end nd George cooked up a wonderful fish lunch using some of our catch. The remaining fish go to George’s church to help feed the needy people in his community. It’s a feel good trip all around. I highly recommend this for anyone
