Cozy Waters -Nassau Fishing & Cook Your Catch 

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic experience on our Cook & Catch boat charter! Rashawn, Jaydon, and Devonte were incredible from start to finish. They were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and especially wonderful with the kids. They made everyone feel comfortable, included, and part of the adventure. What really stood out was how much they tailored the day to us. They made sure we got to do all the things that were important to our family and never made the experience feel rushed. The kids had an absolute blast, which made the day even more memorable for the adults. And then there was the food! Having our catch turned into a delicious, freshly prepared meal right on the boat was such a fun experience—and it was SO good. Rashawn, Jaydon, and Devonte truly made the day special. Great people, great food, and an experience our family will be talking about for a long time. We would absolutely recommend this charter, especially to families traveling with kids. Five stars all around!

Family of 4 - 3 out 4 had no fishing experience- Jayden, Garth and Joshua were Amazing! They are kind and thoughtful and so hardworking. George responds quickly and kept us updated on weather conditions. Best part were getting smiles from teens. A feat unto itself! My son got “a big one!” 6ft nurse shark! My daughter caught and reeled in her own Grunt! We learned about trigger fish and tried it for the first time! Chef’s kiss to Jayden! Even the hubby caught little Nemo. A memory for a lifetime and a little print souvenir for the books! Thanks again! Recommended for anyone and beginners and family That like to have A wicked good time!

We picked Cozy Waters as they were very effective with answering questions. thoughout the process of planinng they continued to have quick resposes which helpedus feel more comfortable i ur choice. We hada group of 5 (2 adult and 3 kids (ages11 to 15). All have have fished in lakes and rivrsbut never in open water. The first impression was when we cruised out for off shore trolling. What a blast! Sea spray and adrenaline. My boys loved it. Devante explained what and how he was baitng, and how to hunt for when trolling. My son reeled in a 2.5 foot barricuda. Unfortunately after a resetting the bait we had a afamily member become sea sick (we're from the Midwest so open water can catch up to us). Cozy Water crew immediately suggested an alternative agenda that included giving my son some time on land to readjust and have some unscheduled swim time. Afterwards we went out to a reef and did some drop casting where we caught grouper, porgies, squirrel fish, and trigger fish and more. The big surprise was the 6.5 ft nurse shark (my boys claim was bigger) which we had to let go. Devante prepped the fish we could we eat , providing a nice snack for he ride home. Our catch and cook boat trip in the Bahamas was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, welcoming, and incredibly well suited for families. What stood out the most was how family friendly the entire excursion was. We brought our 20 month old, and I was initially a bit unsure how it would go, but it ended up being absolutely perfect. The crew was patient, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Whether you have toddlers, young children, or older kids, this experience really works for all ages. The fishing itself was fun and engaging, even for beginners, and the crew made sure everyone had a chance to participate. The highlight, of course, was the “cook” part, enjoying the fresh catch prepared right there. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and easily some of the best we had during our stay. Overall, this is a must do if you are visiting the Bahamas, especially for families looking for something memorable, interactive, and relaxed. We had such a great time and would absolutely do it again.

The water was pretty rough on the only day we had availability. Devonte was our captain, and he gave a few options, depending on how comfortable we felt on the choppy water. We were game for the bigger waves, and they obliged. They kept us safe, but still got us to great fishing spots. Both guides were great at helping us fish the way we prefer. My husband is fine to bait his own hooks and be pretty self-sufficient. I prefer to let them bait for me. They were always ready with more bait, to lend a hand, or a fresh pole if the gear needed attention. After several hours of good fishing, they took us to snorkel at Rose Island. We saw so many different fish and sea life! When we finished snorkeling the beautiful reef, they had a delicious hot meal prepared from our catch. It was quite the experience that would be hard to top. They took extra care to make sure we got back to our cruise ship in time, even while stopping to assist another craft that was dead in the water. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially considering the chop. We were worried they would cancel and instead they gave a great day on the water.

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip with Captain Devonte and Jaden. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and put us on the fish quickly. We had a total of seven in our group but never felt too crowded. There were drinks/snacks provided. The fish was absolutely delicious! One of the most enjoyable parts of the trip was the company. Devonte and Jaden were so much fun which made our experience even better. Thanks for everything guys!! Would highly recommend and hope we can come back soon.

Captain Devonte and Mate Jayden were awesome! Everything about the trip was great! We had some great action with a few sharks and the crew was very knowledgeable with what we were catching and the local waters! They are great with the kids and made the trip really fun for everyone! We had the best day with Captain Devonte and Mate Jaydin. They are so down to earth and provide top notch service making sure you and your family enjoy this trip. They are extremely knowledgeable about the waters and ensure you are safe during your adventure. We caught a ton of fish and they cooked it up for us while we snorkeled. They are both top notch humans and were genuinely patient with us while teaching us their skills. Don’t hesitate and book the trip, you will not regret it!

We had such an amazing time on our fishing excursion! The boat had 3 crew members who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience so enjoyable from start to finish. We caught a ton of fish (and an eel!) which was exciting on its own—but the highlight was definitely when we hooked a shark! That got everyone on board pumped and made for such a fun, unforgettable moment. To top it all off, they filleted and cooked the fish right there on the boat for us, and it was absolutely delicious. There’s nothing better than eating fresh fish you just caught yourself. Overall, the entire excursion was wonderful. We had a blast and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day on the water!

We had an absolutely incredible fishing trip with Captain Devonte and Mate Jaydin. From the moment we stepped on the boat, they were professional, welcoming, and genuinely kind. What really stood out was how amazing they were with my 8- and 10-year-olds. While I was in the water spearfishing, they made sure the boys felt I was safe, especially when one of them got a little nervous. They were patient, encouraging, and completely attentive the entire time. They didn’t just let us fish, they created an experience. They took the time to help the boys learn, celebrate their catches, and stay engaged. It never felt rushed. It felt like they genuinely cared that our family had a great day. And then there was the food. Relaxing in a calm cove while they prepared what we had just caught was beyond anything we could have reasonably expected. It was unbelievably fresh, perfectly cooked, and honestly one of the best meals of our trip. Sitting there, eating that fresh catch with the kids, was a perfect moment. I cannot recommend Captain Devonte and Mate Jaydin highly enough. If we are lucky enough to come back, we will absolutely be booking with them again. An unforgettable experience from start to finish.
