Waist Deep Guide Service is here to show you the stunning waters of Galveston. Captain Kevin will be your guide, offering years of sportfishing experience.
These waters are known for Flounder, Jack Crevalle, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Ladyfish, Atlantic Mackerel, Redfish, Sheepshead, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Spotted Seatrout, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. On these trips, it's common to drift or if desired wade fish using light tackle. Trips are customized to whatever the customers desire.
Children are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. You're welcome to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
You'll be casting lines from a 25' Majek center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Kevin will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait available at bait stand prices
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Waist Deep Guide Service!
