Mike's Fishing Services invites you to spend a day on the waters of Galveston, Texas with Captain Mike Cacciotti. Being a native to the area and having fished these waters his whole life, Mike is able to provide an exciting experience for his guests. He is a professional who welcomes families, beginners, and experienced anglers aboard.
Captain Mike will take you fishing aboard his 24' Kenner Center console, originally built in 1998 and restored in 2017. Powered by a 250 HP Honda engine, with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, it is very fast. The vessel features a GPS and a fishfinder used to locate the best fishing spots, a livewell to hold the bait, life vests for safety, and a CPR-trained captain.
Good quality light tackle bait cast and spin cast rods are used to target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Gulf Trout, Sheepshead, and a variety of Sharks. Capt. Mike prefers light tackle fishing technique as it guarantees fun and excitement, and also means you have to really fight the fish for an unforgettable fishing experience.
The crew provides rods, reels, tackle, and live bait on all trips. They also clean and fillet your catch so make sure you bring a cooler in which you'll transport your catch home. You are advised to bring weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and of course, a camera. You will want to capture all the glorious moments on the water!

Captain Michael gave us an amazing ocean fishing charter experience! We caught a bunch of fish, enjoyed the beautiful views, and had a great time from start to finish. I highly recommend booking with Captain Michael for a fun and unforgettable day on the water!
My husband and I had an awesome experience with Captain Michael! This was our first time in shore fishing and we eneded up getting our limit for spotted trout! Mike was a great guide! We got out there early, hit the limit in an hour, and had great conversation. He coached me through how to do everything myself and taught me a lot. He also cleaned the fish and was a great photographer. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trip and I’ll definitely book with him again.

Wife and I wanted do to some fishing while vacationing for our anniversary. Captain Mike provided a wonderful experience and was really relaxed and easy going. Felt right at home like fishing with your dad or grandpa listening to fishing atories. If we are ever back in Galveston, will 100% only fish with Captain Mike!

Captain Mike started fishing at the tender age of 6, going out with his dad and learning how to cast for and hook his first fish. Years later, while Mike worked at the oil refinery, he was also guiding part-time on the weekends. Once he retired, he took to guiding full time. Mike has over 20 years of guiding experience on the Gulf Coast.
