Spend the day with Crazy J’s Guiding getting to know the waters around Wasilla like never before.

Here you won't be far from backcountry waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.

Around here it's common to go light tackle fishing, which is how you'll get acquainted with these waters. You may also jig and bottom fish, bottom fish, for your catch. Josh will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Lake Trout, Burbot, Northern Pike, and anything else that bites.

You're welcome to bring up to 4 anglers on this guided experience. You'll make your way to the fishing grounds on foot, so be sure to dress for current weather conditions and bring only as much as you can carry.

Expect to get in touch with Josh before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.

Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Layered clothing and appropriate footwear are always encouraged (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen, and sunglasses, no matter the weather.
