Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Cubera Snapper, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Amberjack, and more are in the cards, depending on the time of year. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your boat for the day is a 28' sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are covered by the charter, but feel free to ask the captain about if you want to bring your personal equipment.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

All fishing charters include drinks, fresh fruit, snack and equipment. Full days and 3/4 days include sandwiches/ lunch.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen and long sleeve shirt (you can buy a Costa Catch Nosara fishing shirt onboard. If you'd like to bring other drinks and beverages feel free. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Best fishing trips.

I have fished at different locations around the world, and I can certainly say these were the best two trips I've had. Species caught included yellow fin tuna,barracuda,sailfish,mahi-mahi,(big bull),rock snapper,cubera snapper(very big). All in all,these were two very memorable experiences. Captain Marco and crew were great and worked together professionally. Food on board was delicious,(cevise prepared with caught fish,(snapper and cubera). I would certainly recommend going fishing with Costa Catch to fellow anglers! Paul Ellis, visiting from the Netherlands.

Great day with Captain Marco and crew. Caught a couple of really nice fish and had alot of fun. You can see he has been doing this a long time and knows where to try for the species you want. The boat is well equipped and he has good gear, will definately fish with him again if I have the chance.

My arms are still burning!!!

Half Day Trip – Offshore (AM) on June 13, 2025 • 2 adults

It was just my wife and I and by no means are we experienced. Rainy season in CR and we didn't know what to expect. Captain and crew put us on fish immediately! we initially caught a small yellowfin keeper and a number of small black tuna that we used for live but. Caught100 pound sailfish. Then hooked and landed a 60-70 pound yellowfin! While fighting that yellowfin, we hooked into another sailfish. Incredible!! The other charters in the area were not as productive. I highly recommend Costa Catch Nosara to everyone. Fresh fruit and drinks on board were a nice touch. This was our first CR fishing trip and I plan to book with this crew if I can the next time we visit. Very professional and knowledgeable!! Thank you for a memorable adventure!!! Best part of our vacation by far!!! Pura Vida!!

Captain Marco and 1st Mate, Nelson, were awesome! They put us on fish immediately. We had a Sailfish and a Marlin on lines at the same time. My boys had a blast reeling those in. Then after that we caught some nice eating fish. I highly recommend!!

went out for an afternoon deep sea trip to catch some marlin and it did not disappoint! we caught two 400 lb marlin and two mahi mahi in about 4 hours of fishing. during the breaks in the action we got fresh fruit, fresh coconut water, and even got to eat some mahi we caught. definitely take a trip with costa catch! (also if you want to buy a shirt or hat ask ahead of time)
